Sooo skipped out on weekend even though I completely intended to go today e_e I kind of wanted to, but it kind of wasn't remmotely possible to both go to Weekend and pass my exam monday so I'm hoping to pass.

WoW time finally ran out, I even went so far as to uninstall it from my laptop so I won't play on Mike's account all the time x| I'm not looking forward to reinstalling, but otherwise I would continue playing wow while watching lectures and that is bad mmkay.

Uploaded new iconz dey r hawt

The dishes were done today and that is very nice. :| My roommate has a habit of waiting until there are enough dishes to use the dishwasher for it. Well, when one/two people are making dishes (I tend to either not make dishes or rinse and reuse the same dishes for weeks), that takes a while. So there gets to be that lovely film on the stagnant water in bowls with food debris and lskdfj so gross but x| We don't have an insect problem and it actually doesn't smell unless you get close so I'll just let her do things her way >< At least I got her to be more careful about getting food under the burners. The stovetop is still horrifying, but, well. Whatever.

Also I took the tree down while I was studying yesterday, it was exceptionally productive. Mindless tasks are good for keeping me focused on what the teacher is saying. ...And yes, I mean the christmas tree. Put it away on February 27th. >_> It was a pretty tree and I am a lazy woman D:

Rofl roommate writing reminded me -- My brother :| Something was on tv and they were like "You can't just butt into her life" and the reply was "But that's what sisters are for!" and Leo was like "I'm sure glad my sister doesn't do that! ... Not that I have much to butt into" and I almost went into great detail about all that I would butt in on if I thought it would do any good :| Mom called the other day and was like "Would you still want me to move up there if I could get the house back?" and I felt a pang of "You mean you won't be here to cook for me and whip Leo into shape?!" before replying "If you want to live in Sarasota, do that, do whatever's best for you." I mean honestly, yeah I'm fine either way, but it would be so much easier if she was just here. >_>

One more week and then it's Spring Break. Lordy I'm so excited. A week to catch up and relax (lol). I need to figure out what I'm doing and when so I can solidfy when I'll be studying.

Ah shit, I need to advertise for roommates, too. Blah.

Well, I guess I'll write that out after this lecture.

~♥~

Only posting because this icon is hot. Kimblee you evil horrible person you.

uhm, yeah, school. mild apo, mild wow, not really so much of either though more of the latter. Also I swear each day I realize more acutely the fact that why, yes, I am kind of interested in this pharmacy stuff. Learned a lot about mom's meds and health state and such. It's really cool :x

Should be in bed, had forgotten I had to make an outline for a presentation. It's done though, so bed soon :D So I can wake up early and study for the exam in the evening :| and the quiz in the morning. And... after the test make the presentation I just outlined. Prep for the presentation Thursday. Wait anxiously for the response email from my 4PD that I'm supposed to shadow.

also re: things I've learned lately

Guys for your own health please sleep. :| They aren't kidding about the 6-8 hours thing. Any less, or even too much more, can contribute to serious problems later in life. This is such a simple thing, it's really not worth your health. If you often don't feel rested and have been told that you snore, or if you have insomnia, please think about speaking with a professional. It's no good. D: I know noone really follows all these rules to a T but here's a site with lots of good guidelines about sleep. http://www.sleepeducation.com/Hygiene.aspx

/steps off soap box

~♥~

oh the things a 92-year-old man says!

I had a horrible test yesterday and then I had delicious pizza and today my mom came up to visit :D Her and Wes and my great grandfather. It was pretty sweet, we had lunch at friday's and prior to that looked at many pictures and generally chatted.

But really the only reason I wanted to post:

My stepdad brought me 48 grapefruit and 3 oranges. Forty eight! I am safe from scurvy!

Going back to the boy's eventually, to "study" aka sleep/watch tv/play wow and probably not study at all. But we'll see.

~♥~

it's been a while since I posted last!

...and it will probably still be a while for good content! I just want to plug this:

Repo! The Genetic Opera Soundtrack

The songs here are out of order and they are not all the songs in the movie, but most of the delightful ones. It's the soundtrack they released before releasing the DVD.

GO SEE IT. It is a rock opera about a man who repossesses organs for a vicious company and the sick child of his late wife whom he keeps sheltered from the world and his alter ego. Naturally, he can't keep her sheltered forever...! So lots of things happen, not all of them very nice (in fact most of them not very nice). There is lots and lots of singing and gore because it is an opera and about a man who rips organs out of living bodies.

*ahem* Other than that, my world is pharmacy, WoW, and APhiO, the latter two not necessarily in that order but the former certainly so. I gave the parental controls password to Mike, it was a good idea :|

I have three interviews tomorrow that I do not even know what I am wearing to them and I don't have a resume typed up yet and oh goodness meeee. But it will all be dandy, really.

PS that upload is taking/took FOR FUCKING EVER So appreciate it bitches.

~♥~
